The good news with our active air meal delivery systems is that you no longer have to use the pellet base or insulated domes. This means you have less to manage in dinnerware. What you do with the remaining bases and insulated domes is up to you, but you don’t need them with our systems.

They vary in weight. The Optimus cart weighs just under 430lbs. The largest carts JonesZylon produces can weigh around 600lbs. However, no matter their size, they maintain their ease of maneuverability thanks to our premium casters.

Our heated-only carts run off of 115V, while our carts with refrigeration require 120V.

When plugged in and running, they’ll hold temperatures indefinitely. Without power, our carts will keep food at safe temperatures for as long as 45 minutes.

The number of meals varies from cart to cart. Our Optimus carts hold between 20-24 meals. Our MealPro carts hold anywhere from 8 meals to 44 meals.

Each style of cart does this differently. Optimus uses a proprietary wall design that seals air from one side of the cart to the other when a tray is not in place. In MealPro car

Generally, we find that our systems are more cost-effective than similar systems. Other active temperature carts range from $12,000 to $25,000. Our systems come in, depending on size, from $10,000 to $20,000. When compared with the pellet system, one of our active temperature carts costs an average of $2,000 to $5,000 more upfront but will pay you back in as quickly as 3 years.

Active temperature carts regulate the ambient temperature of a cart to prevent temperature loss in food, neutralizing the effects of the second law of thermodynamics.

All of JonesZylon’s products are manufactured in the United States.
